Candy Bar Fundraiser Distribution

Laine Seibel will distribute the Gardner’s candy bars per the schedule below.  As a reminder, any parent who does not wish to participate may write a check for $32.00 made out to BSA and give it to Laine at their team’s designated candy distribution time.  If you are not able to make your team’s scheduled time, you may come to one of the other distribution times.  Please contact Laine at teamseibel@embarqmail.com to let her know.

Soccer Shots Programs for 2-3 and 3-4 year olds

Bellefonte Soccer Association and Soccer Shots Central & North Central PA are pleased to announce two additional programs for the Fall 2012 soccer season!

Soccer Shots Minis

  • Ages 2-3
  • Wednesday Evenings @ 5:00PM, 9/12 to 10/17
  • Walker Township Park Fields
  • $60 for 6 Weeks (Includes a t-shirt)

Soccer Shots Classic

  • Ages 3-4
  • Wednesday Evenings @ 5:00PM, 9/12 to 10/17
  • Walker Township Park Fields

Highlights of the Parents’ Meeting

We had a great turnout at the Fall Season Parent’s Meeting on August 14!  Here are some highlights and important information:

  • Coaches and Teams were announced!  Your child’s coach will be in touch with you to confirm practice dates/times.
  • Fundraiser – Each child is asked to sell at least 1 box of Gardners candy bars.  You may opt out for $32 (the cost of one box).  Boxes of candy bars will be delivered during team practices, starting the week of August 19.  Money will be collected the week of September 23.
  • Pictures – Scheduled for Saturday, September 8, at Bellefonte Middle School Auxiliary Gym.  The schedule for each team will be provided closer to the date so check back for details!
  • Elks Soccer Shoot Out – This fun event will take place in conjunction with pictures on Saturday, September 8.  Stop by the Middle School soccer fields after pictures to participate.
  • September Board Meeting – The September Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 11, at 8pm at the Spring Township Municipal Building.

2012 Fall Season Registration

Registration for the 2012 fall season is now open, and will remain open until July 24. No late registrations will be accepted after that date. If you have questions, please review the FAQ section of this website, and if it is not answered there, please contact us.

Age Brackets

Use this table of birth dates to determine which age category is appropriate for your child:

U19 8-1-1993 to 7-31-1998
U14 8-1-1998 to 7-31-2000
U12 8-1-2000 to 7-31-2002
U10 8-1-2002 to 7-31-2004
U8 8-1-2004 to 7-31-2006
U6 8-1-2006 to 7-31-2008

Beginning with the 2012-13 season, play-ups to the next age bracket will no longer be allowed in the inhouse/recreational league unless the child’s birthday falls within the month of August.  This rule is to help keep players with their true peers and classmates.
